Mats for farrowing crates

AAG has a great cooperation with pig farmer Rune Nielsen from Skalfarms. We delivered 412 farrowing mats at a time, where there was much focus on shoulder wounds from the Danish Food & Drug Administration. There is a clear policy about minimizing the frequency of shoulder wounds and many fines have been handed out to farmers as wounds annoy the animals and signals a lack of care for the sows. AAG solutions are recommended by VSP (The Danish Pig Research Centre) to both prevent and remedy, thereby reducing the number of wounds. Skalfarms use both our standard farrowing mats and our comfort version, which has an extraordinary softness and increases blood circulation, when sows are laying down. The relief is essential and Skalfarms have had really good results after laying the mats.
