PTFE is a highly crystalline plastics that belong to the group of fluorine plastic. The material is known primarily for its very low friction properties. PTFE has excellent chemical resistance to acids, solvents and alkalis and have good electrical and dielectric properties. In addition, the PTFE is UV resistant and has no moisture absorption. The material is durable and smooth and is used mainly in the machinery and food industry as e.g. heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, pump parts, piping, gaskets, bushings, sliding elements, bearings, insulators etc. PTFE is available as standard plates, tubes or bars, but AAG delivers a wide range of PTFE solutions.
